Matthew 28:20
"Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
There is no greater joy, privilege, and hope than knowing that Jesus is with us always. Whether we are going through seasons of weeping or laughing, seasons of mourning or celebrations, Jesus says He is with us through it all. He is our Shepherd, our guide in this world that is dead in sin. Often, we tend to only pray when we are in distress or when we need something really badly, but after we've gotten it, we stop as if everything is much safer when it is in the control of our mortal hands.
There will be times when temptation feels like it is getting the best hand, times when your boss is just "biting", times when you don't know how to solve a problem. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, "In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." My best sentence to say during this moment is "Thank you Jesus, for giving me an opportunity to show my love for you."
Our prayer today is that God may draw us close to Him, that we will not desire to be in any other presence but His. We pray that we may walk with the awareness of Christ being with us, with no fear or anxiety of what we are going through. In Jesus’ name, Amen
"Thank you Jesus, for being with us always"
